We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within ten working days from its receipt, unless a response is provided to you within that same period.
A response will be provided to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within a maximum period of two months from receipt of your written complaint.
Mediation
For consumer clients, the consumer mediator may be contacted two months after the sending of a first written complaint, regardless of the contact person or department to which it was submitted, and whether or not a response has been provided.

Masmak France determines the purposes and means of the personal data processing carried out in the context of its activity.
Personal data collected
Depending on the nature of the relevant relationship, Masmak France may, in particular, collect the following categories of data:

- data relating to insurance requests, contracts, covers, quotations, policies, claims and services;
- data necessary for the administrative, accounting, commercial and regulatory management of the relationship;

Website hosting and IT tools
The Masmak France website may be hosted in the United Kingdom. As the United Kingdom benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission, transfers of personal data from the European Union to the United Kingdom are currently authorised without any additional transfer mechanism.
The data collected in the context of Masmak France’s activity may also be stored and processed using professional IT tools, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive or other secure solutions used by Masmak France.
This data may be stored in data centres located in France, in the European Union, in the United Kingdom or in any other country benefiting from an adequate level of protection or appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.
Masmak France ensures that its technical service providers provide sufficient guarantees in terms of security, confidentiality and protection of personal data.
Transfers outside the European Union
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, Masmak France ensures that such transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or, failing that, on appropriate safeguards provided for by the applicable regulations, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Retention period
Personal data is retained for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Data relating to clients, contracts, quotations, services, claims and business relationships is retained for the duration of the contractual or pre-contractual relationship, then archived for the periods necessary to comply with legal, accounting, regulatory or professional obligations, or for the defence of Masmak France’s rights.
By way of indication, certain data may be retained for a period of five (5) years after the end of the contractual relationship, unless a longer or shorter period is imposed by a legal or regulatory obligation, or by the need to manage a dispute.

Masmak France implements appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of the personal data processed, and in particular to prevent it from being destroyed, lost, altered, disclosed or accessed by unauthorised persons.
